Millwright (Installation Crew)
Job Requirements:
- Math skills
- Basic geometry / must figure angles
- Simple blueprint reading
- Read tape measure
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Must be willing to do extensive travel
- Must be mechanical
- Must be familiar with steel layout and structures
- Must be able to stick weld in all positions
- Cannot be afraid of heights
- In all millwright positions, a technical school degree is very helpful. Millwrights are given tasks and need to be able to figure out how to accomplish them.
Welder
Job Tasks:
- Set up a welder and weld components
- Assembly components where needed
- Examine work pieces for defects
Requirements:
- Previous welding training and/or experience
Electrical Systems Technician
The Electrical System Technician, as part of our service team, will design, evaluate, assemble, and/or maintain electrical systems for new and/or used equipment. There will be specialization in Ranco’s embedded control system that drives our Declining Weigh blend system. We also interact with and commission full plant automation systems. Additional responsibilities of remote customer troubleshooting, wiring manufactured equipment, building control enclosures, and working with electronic load cells/scales.
Job Tasks:
- Build panels complying with UL, CE, and CSA standards.
- Travels to customer sites for service, training and assessment.
- Read and execute drawings and wiring diagrams for panels.
- Uses or creates wiring diagrams and schematic diagrams.
- Understanding interlocking of electrical components.
- Applies switching and control circuitry practices.
- Works with single and 3-phase voltages and with DC power.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of and proficiency in using computers and software.
- Learn and understand calibration and formulation.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems (over the phone and on location).
- Knowledge of ERP software is preferred but not required.
- 2-year degree in Electrical Controls emphasis is preferred.
Production Planner
Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors the flow of products through the complete production cycle. Provides timely planning and scheduling of manufacturing job orders to the manufacturing floor in order to achieve both internal schedules and customer delivery dates. This is a fast paced and visible position that will require the ability to adjust on the fly and deal with constant change.
Job Tasks:
- Utilize Infor Cloudsuite Industrial (CSI)/Syteline Enterprise Resource Planner (ERP) to manage the production work flow
- Releasing jobs to the shop to support internal and external due dates
- Coordinate with the Plant Manager and Shop Foreman on the production schedule and release of jobs, expediting jobs as required
- Generate manufacturing job orders, pick lists, and print drawing packets for the shop
- Process job material transactions within CSI
- Create and modify job Bills of Manufacturing (BOMs) as needed to expedite flow through the shop
Requirements:
- Must be a team player able to converse with supervisors, co-workers, customers, suppliers, and vendors
- Strong oral and written communication skills required
- Strong interpersonal skills required
- Knowledge of ERP software (CSI/Syteline is a plus), MS Excel, Word, Outlook & Microsoft Teams
- Knowledge of manufacturing techniques; prior manufacturing production experience not required but is beneficial
